BEIJING - Some 30,000 Chinese steelworkers clashed with police in a protest over plans to merge their mill with another company and beat the company's general manager to death, a human rights monitor said Saturday.
Several hundred people were injured in the clash Friday in the northeastern city of Tonghua, the Hong Kong-based Information Center for Human Rights and Democracy said in a faxed statement.
Employees of Tonghua Iron and Steel Group object to plans for Jianlong Steel take control of the company, the center said. It said Beijing-based Jianlong controlled the company temporarily last year, and employees blame Jianlong for financial problems suffered at the time.
Angry Tonghua employees attacked Jianlong general manager Chen Guojun during the protest and beat him to death, the center said. It said friends of Chen confirmed he was dead.
Workers were angry that Chen was paid some 3 million yuan ($438,000) last year while some retirees received as little as 200 yuan ($29) a month, the center said.

Folks, this man, Obama, has fewer that 160 days as a senator and now he is our non American president. His experience is far superior to any of us. He is the best engineer, best doctor, best business administrator, best negotiator, etc., so he thinks.

no choice care CONGRESS TO CARE FOR YOU!!
For all of you who are thinking that Obama and his elitists who have never worked for a company or ran and managed a company successfully here is a wake up call. Obama and the media and all his Obamatites say that you will be able to keep your insurance and your doctor.........Well folks, on page 16 of this legislation it is written that in order for you to have this ability you have to sign up for it before a due date. Failure to do so means you cannot go back and say, hmmmmm, I never knew that. Wke up and read that fine print. The media and talking heads have been told to not bring this to anyones attention.

Congress to consult your doctor
Folks, c'mon. Are we as a people that stupid? Why is no one asking congress to sign up for the very same plan they are having us, we the people who appointed them, sign? They are elitists, and have this brotherhood. They firmly believe that they, through the media can socially engineer us to accept this junk and tax hikes, the likes of which no one knows.
What frightens me is that there are real dumb folks among us who actually believe that this will be free. Wait until they see what free will cost.
How come no one, especially our open media and journalists are not asking these politicians why so many Canadians and folks from countries who have social health no care why they prefer our system, why our care facilities are better and more accessible?
Imagine for a second if a CNN reporter gets asked a question; what are you going to do if you want elective surgery or need a specific procedure and you are told no, or may have to wait 3 months for an appointment. They really think that they are not going to be part of the public who have to meet the high requirements of the free USA government plan.
Imagine your doctor says, Barnet Frank says that your procedure is not necessary, hahha.
Share your opinions and lets take back our country. The politicians firmly believe they are a government with a country and not as we do, a country with a government.
