Did you know that woman is half a man....?

Woman, where is your outrage? I thought that you were all behind the cause of freeing woman around the globe. Turns out you aren't because the only rights issue you are worried about is the women's rights in the USA.

Well, in Iran, although you will never hear the American women's rights movement complain about it, turns out, ladies, that in Iran you are worth half a man. Yep, this is true!!! It is in Iran's Constitution.

If a woman who is pregnant gets killed in a car accident, Sharia law requires the guilty party in the other car to pay a full fine for the fetus and only half that for the woman. This carries through every aspect of Iranian society. Women can't own or dispose of property. If a women's husband dies, the family of the husband disposes of his estate. That's the contempt that awaits us if the Iranians have their way. In fact, they view the entire non-muslim world as worth even less than muslim women.

For 30 years we gave been negotiating, heck let's keep on doing it until we are all dead or forced to live under Sharia law.

Folks, this is America for goodness sake, the land of the brave and the land of the free. We are the last bastion of freedom. Let's fight for it and keep the torch of freedom alive.

Folks, we have been talking to the Iranians for years, over 30 to be exact. Their isn't an American president from Carter to the present that has not authorized negotiations with these madmen.

Case in point: During the Clinton era we ended all kinds of sanctions against Iran, let all kinds of Iranian's into the US for the first time since the 1970's, had sporting matches with them, hosted the Iranian cultural events, and unfroze the Iranian bank accounts. HUGE MISTAKE!!!!

Then Clinton and Secretary of State, Albright started to PUBLICLY apologize to Iran for this and that. NOW, when all was said and done, the Ali Khamenei reminded everyone that Iran is in a state of war with the US and all negotiations ended.

Sound like history repeating itself....? This is an ideology war and nothing else. The muslims attitude is like a line from an old James Bond movie, Goldfinger. James Bond is spreadeagled on a sheet of gold, a laser beam is cutting through the gold sheet and about to slice him in half. Goldfinger, the actress is standing up on a balcony looking down at him. James Bond asks, "Goldfinger, what is this?" "Do you expect me to talk?" Goldfinger replies, "No, mr Bond, I expect you to die. " This is the attitude of the muslims.

By the way, the terrorists in Mumbai were seeking out holders of USA passports.

Obama already going back on his word

He has not even put his hand on the bible yet, and he is already going back on his campaign ideals. According to Nedra Pickler, of the Associated press, Obama has "relaxed" his stance on lobbyists. Once stating that "...once I am president, they [lobbyists] won't find a job in my white house," are now being told that they cannot lobby during the transition, and if they lobbyed within the past 12 months, they cannot lobby for the same cause once the transition is over.

You could come out and say that this blatent hypocrisy, which it is. Or you could say that he has lobbyists and a short rope, which he does, for now. Either way you look at it, it is a long way from having no lobbyists in the white house as he promissed during his campaign.

The price for peace

Americans, we are slipping toward socialism, don't believe me then look at how much the feds now control, our banks, our auto industry, soon to be health care, education....the list goes on.

In order for socialism to succeed the government must first weaken the economy, take away the wealth of the working class and control the industries. Once this is done, they will then reeducate the populous.

Upon the completion of those tasks you will be dependant and answerable to the government. You will no longer be able to have choices, gas will be expensive so the government will now provide transportation, the cost of living will be outrageous and due to government health care the older citizens will receive no care at all, education will be controlled and the civilian army will keep you in check.

How beer drinkers view the economics of a TAX BREAK

Suppose that every day, ten men go out for beer and the bill for all ten comes to $100. If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this:
The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing.The fifth would pay $1.The sixth would pay $3.The seventh would pay $7.The eighth would pay $12.The ninth would pay $18.The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59.
So, that's what they decided to do. The ten men drank in the bar every day and seemed quite happy with the arrangement, until one day, the owner threw them a curve."Since you are all such good customers", he said, "I'm going to reduce the cost of your daily beer by $20". Drinks for the ten now cost just $80. The group still wanted to pay their bill the way we pay our taxes so the first four men were unaffected. They would still drink for free. But what about the other six men - the paying customers? How could they divide the $20 windfall so that everyone would get his "fair share?"They realized that $20 divided by six is $3.33. But if they subtracted that from everybody's share, then the fifth man and the sixth man would each end up being paid to drink his beer. First illegal:
Shot an El Paso taxi cab driver (could have been your brother, husband, son) in the back of the neck. the motive was theft - a watch, wallet, and jacket.

Second illegal:
Kidnapped a young 16 year old (could have been your daughter) from a party. He raped her and crushed her head with a block of asphalt.

Third illegal:
Kidnapped a 16 year old (could have been your daughter) from her TX home. He raped her, beat her, and then strangled her. Her body was dumped in a canal.

Fourth illegal:
Gang raped and strangled two girls (could have been your daughters) in Houston as a gang initiation with 5 accomplices. The veteran cops who found their bodies say that after a year they still have difficulty discussing the case because of the sheer brutality involved.

Fifth illegal:
Bludgeoned his wife and two kids. He buried their bodies under the bathroom floor and remarried 3 days later.

Mexico is spending alot of money on this case. Why do they not give the money to the families of these murdered US citizens and apologize for these murders?

Folks, the way I see it is simple, see if you agree; the way to reduce crime is to round up the illegal aliens.

Our cops should be free to enforce section 287 of the Immigration and Naturalization Act which provides them the right to enforce immigration laws.

Go to Indonesia and get caught with drugs. Your own country cannot protect you. You are put to death. PERIOD.

What is so wrong with this, if you come to our country to rape, murder and rob you should face the harshest of penalties, and your country should be forced to pay the families who were victims. You should not be getting a free pass just because you are a foreign national.

We the people were recently polled about drilling for our own oil and the polls showed an overwhelming majority in favor of doing so. So this should be a no brainer, right? We voted these dirt bags in to work for us...protect our country and our liberty and all the other good things.

Now, we have the follow up by "we the politicians"

Folks we are funding the economies of countries that really are unfriendly toward the USA. Look at pictures that you can find on Google when you search Dubai. You will be astounded, shocked. Yep, we are still funding their economy and now they are buying our banks. What a crock.

The story:

Consider the history of "Destin Dome" a geological formation in the gulf of Mexico, about 25 miles from Pensacola Florida., that purportedly has enough natural gas to supply a million homes for 30 years. Now, not only will you then appreciate how difficult it is to drill offshore, you will also appreciate the inanity of democrat charges that BIG OIL isn't drilling all of it's existing lease holdings.

Drilling in the Gulf Coast has long been contentious. Five years after the 1973 Arab oil embargo, congress amended the OUTER CONTINENTAL SHELF LANDS ACT (get familiar with this term folks, you are going to need it) to give states, local governments and those dastardly environmental groups more leeway to challenge drilling in the federal waters off their coasts, and folks, they did that with the enthusiasm of a lion chasing a deer.

James Watt, Pres. Reagan's environmental (supposedly) hostile Interior Secretary tried to reverse this restriction by opening almost the entire OUTER CONTINENTAL SHELF to drilling. Now that would have been an excellent idea....right?

Well, here come our "we the politicians" a California congressional delegation who "SLIPPED" (doesn't this always happen under the cloak of darkness) a provision into an appropriations bill that placed a moratorium on drilling off that states shores.

QUESTION: Were "we the people" ever asked or informed about this....hmmmmm!!! Well, subsequently, congress enacted separate moratoriums on Florida, New Jersey, North Carolina and California.

These bans folks, didn't cover the DESTIN DOME, which went on the block in 1984. Yep, a real head scratcher.

Chevron, Conoco, and Murphy Exploration drilled three exploratory wells there in 1987, '89 and '95 that found an estimated 2.6 trillion cubic feet of natural gas. Here now comes the tricky part. In order to produce this Chevron had to get approval from the state and federal government.
Well folks, this should be a formality. Guess again.

What do you think "we the politicians" did...?

This is where it gets interesting. Chevron did what they had to and that is submit a development plan to the state and the Interior Dept for review in 1996. Bush the first in 1990 had placed a temporary moratorium on new drilling off South Florida, fulfilling a campaign promise to sunshine state voters.

1995 Clinton came out against new lease sales, and Florida's congressional crew, both Republican and Democrat (we the politicians) successfully supported another moratorium on new drilling to replace one that had expired. Stay focused here, it gets better!

QUESTION: Were "we the people" ever considered, brought into the mix ...?

Chevron proposed drilling 12 - 21 gas wells. Florida bureaucrat commies took their time before nixing the application 2 years later. Our Dept. of Commerce can overturn this, Chevron appealed. Under the law there is no deadlines on appeals. So, Chevron the sued the Federal government in 2000 claiming they had been denied a timely and fair review of its plans.

Bush the 2nd is sworn in. His Commerce Dept. also twiddled its thumbs. Meanwhile, Bush met secretly with Floridas then governor - his brother Jeb - a FOE to offshore drilling. They agreed to have the Federal Government buy back the leases for $115 million and placed a moratorium on drilling at the DESTIN DOME till 2011.

QUESTION: I thought that if our country has natural resources that "we the people" should benefit from it.....!

There are now 140 actual leased tracts there that cannot be drilled. "We the politicians" are shouting out loud and pointing there famous finger to BIG OIL saying, they already have 68 million acres of drillable land and sea, which equates to the size of Illinois and Georgia combined. They "we the politicians" say to BIG OIL, "USE IT OR LOSE IT"

Guess what folks, those acres include the DESTIN DOME. Cannot do anything there.

What did Chevron do? They went to Angola and is now producing natural gas for sale to the USA.

Soon we will have a new president in the oval office, one who wishes to win the war and one who is on record as saying: "I'm the only major candidate who opposed this war from the beginning; and as president, I will end it." Yes folks, he will also end our power. The only free country in the world. He will also disarm us.


Question: If you are engaged in a fight and the opposing soldier has a firearm and you have a knife.....who will win?


Well, Obama wants you to fight with a knife.


He is on record as saying: "Second, I will cut tens of billions of dollars in wasteful spending. I will cut investments in unproven missile defense systems. I will not weaponize space. I will slow our development of future combat systems."


"I will institute an independent defense priorities board to ensure that the Quadrennial Review is not used to justify unnecessary defense spending."


"Third., I will set a goal for a world without nuclear weapons. To seek that goal, I will not develop nuclear weapons; I will seek a global ban on the production of fissile material; and I will negotiate with Russia to take our ICBMs off hair-trigger alert, and to achieve deep cuts in our nuclear arsenal."


Now folks, if you were the president of the USA would you get the best research and development in order to get the best weapons, yes or no!!!!

Obama, is divesting. His plan is dangerously irresponsible and VERY GOOD FOR NORTH KOREA, CHINA, RUSSIA AND IRAN who want to destroy and kill us.

While Obama is dismantling, the other countries are building.

We have been down this road before. Clinton pursued a denuclearization program in 1995 and signed a treaty to the effect. What happened, anyone remember: It kicked open the door to our nuclear labs and who entered - the Chinese who stole our warhead secrets and strengthened their own arsenal.

• 420 TRILLION cubic feet of NATURAL GAS
• A south east state has 3.8 BILLION barrels of OIL &
• 22 TRILLION cubic feet of NATURAL GAS

Will you explore, drill and use the oil and natural gas, or not? I have not even included Alaska yet.

How different do you think our great country would be if we were to use these natural elements from our earth? Remember, we may also sell our oil and gas too.

It is just plain common sense that if we supply our own oil and gas that we will be better off. Folks, this is not rocket science and we have been kept from using our very own resources for to long now. This utter stupidity has to stop.

Folks, the Middle East and the UAE loves American money. Look at how their economies have grown. Type in your Google search the name Dubai or even Qatar and see for yourself. Now compare what is happening there vs here in the USA.

I am not saying that their economies should not benefit from trade. I am a capitalist and like the power and diversity of a global economy, but we have our own resources......

How do you think our economy will benefit when we do not have to send so much money to the Middle East and Canada?

Why else would you think some wealthy Californians who own property in oil rich Santa Barbara Channel are NEVER SLOW to underwrite the costs of presidential campaigns.

Back in June of 2007, Senator John warren of Virginia had a proposal to allow drilling off the Virginia coast and guess what, when time came for the vote, the three presidential candidates were conveniently absent from the senate.

Folks, drillers have ab enviable record and have arguably done less damage to mother earth vs. the construction and tourism industry. Besides, most spills are as a result of ship wrecks. No one proposes prohibiting seagoing vessels from sailing close to our shores.

Republican Rep. John Peterson of Titusville, PA where 150 years ago the first oil well was drilled has tried to LIFT the moratoriums on drilling off the east and west coast, including the Florida Gulf Coast.

In the coming weeks when our Congress (remember, they are smarter than us, know what is best for us and our country) considers an appropriations measure for the Interior Dept. John Peterson's action will merely be symbolic because of lack of support.

I am tired of politicians who have no backbone, and our politicians win hands down in this arena. A bunch of wussies that are educated beyond their level of intelligence. They clearly do not care about the citizens, they have other agendas and one of them is to raise taxes. They play the blame game, we need to tax these oil rich corporations, they are making to much money is what our politicians want us to believe. Why do the politicians NOT WANT TO REDUCE THE TAXES ON GAS? Imagine if this does happen, as gas goes up the government reduces the taxes by 50% of the increase at the pump.

A point to consider, EXXON makes less per dollar than Google or Microsoft. The government makes more off EXXON than they do on Google, Microsoft and other companies, and now they want tax Exxon even more. This really solves the problem doesn't it? What do you think EXXON will do when their taxes are raised?, ......................pass it on to us, the consumer.

Back to Peterson and let see if you agree with what he had planned: Introduce a bill that will open up the Outer Continental Shelf to natural gas drilling. The USA is paying the highest prices in the world for natural gas. We could even sell the leases and that would bring the prices down immediately. What do you think.....? Good idea or bad idea. Well, turns out President Bush doesn't support revoking lease sales moratoriums, a condition passed by his father in the 1990's. This was extended to 2012 by Clinton. president Bush also said he will give great weight to the desires of the states that do not want new gas and oil developments off their coasts. I do, and so do you.

Folks join the fraternity. This is the only way we as a people are going to take back our country and get these slime ball politicians to do what we the people elected them to do.

Do they really think that if we, POWERUPAMERICA had over 300000-00 members and growing that they will be getting away with what they are doing? NO WAY!!!!!!!

He is continuing to categorize the citizens of the USA, the small town , gun slinging, anti immigrant, anti trade, Bible-pounding bigots who do not have a clue about how markets and the economics of the real world work. Sadly, this is what he thinks along with most of your elitist politicians. Obama says that the simple ideas of the small town folks
are merely a result of their under-privileged economic status.

Folks in small towns are seen as uninformed and unrefined, you might as well add, uneducated. Their votes do not really count, so why even bother with them.

We cannot sit back and say this man made a mistake, why else would he say something like that if he was not thinking along those lines.

Look at Kenya, in Africa. No doubt Obama was involved there. The citizens of Kenya voted for a new man, a change, they wanted freedoms. What happened - the old regime did not want to give up, so the UN and no doubt Obama and his cronies gave the people a shared government. They now have two presidents. How is this going to work? Imagine the USA with two presidents? How will the populous ever get a consensus? The peoples voice was not heard at all, rather, the elitists stepped in and .............................................

This goes along with what Hillary is espousing, quite freely with no challenge from the media.

We all know how she hates the rich, and the very essence of our free-market economic system, right?

She declares that we are, in reality in a "on your own society." Her remedy for the problem is for us to become a "we're in this together society" a nation of "shared responsibility" AND "shared prosperity." She has also elsewhere stated that our free-market has failed, churches have failed, we have all failed; and to become a just society, some people need to have things taken away from them.

See, what happened in Kenya, a shared just society, is what is coming to the USA.

Why is it, that capitalism for Obama and Clinton and most Democrats is okay for them, but nobody else.

Reading all the headlines about who we as Americans have to vote for as president and what this new president is going to do for us and our country is pathetic to say the least.

It is so crystal clear that Obama and Clinton are both elitists and really do not have your interest at heart. Raise taxes, run away from Iraq, raise taxes even more on corporations, cut down our military, change our health insurance to a federal one, put more money toward education, protect the illegals, give our tax money to the illegals, do not protect immigration and our borders, and so the list goes on........

Have any one of them ever said, "you know fellow Americans our country is in a slow down and in order to right this ship we are going to reduce taxes on gasoline, reduce taxes on income, drill for our own oil and return America to it's greatness again." No they do not, it is all doom and gloom.

TAX OUTRAGE

Fellow fraternity members, why is it that some American's just do not get it about taxes. The power to tax is the power to destroy....agree or disagree?



Our elected officials on the left will tell you they are raising the taxes on the wealthy to give to the poor. This creates class diversification, let's hate the rich. They should be paying more in taxes......and so the message goes.



Do you honestly think that we can tax ourselves into prosperity?



I always find it amazing that when there is a budget problem the first thing that the Democrats say is: we need to raise the taxes. The Republicans on the other hand have a different approach: let's create more jobs and cut taxes.



Look at the stimulus package. I do not think that the economics of it are sound. What do I mean? Well, getting a one time capital infusion from uncle Sam is good, I will rather like to get a monthly tax break on my income, wouldn't you? This creates a continual increase in income.



The purpose of todays posting is to get people to join the fraternity, stand together, west coast to east coast and demand a change in the taxation. A flat tax will be much better. We know what we will have to pay, no secrets, no being scared of the IRS auditing us and guess what...., these politicians will now have less power, and do their job. We will be free and the govt. will be collecting more money.



Our country, no doubt is facing a crisis and many fingers can be pointed. If you choose to stay on the side line and not become a member, what change can you implement?

Take a look at our most recent disgrace: Elliot Spitzer. Is he an elitist or a traditional American?



As attorney general he used the the power and the blank check book of the state of New York to vigorously pursue individuals and US corporations. This was done for gain to run as governor.



As governor, he partakes in a prostitution and prostitute ring......



Fellow citizens, c'mon. Imagine yourself a parent of two children, a boy and a girl. You come home from work, kiss your wife, hug your kids and say, "dad loves you," all the while you know you have little to no respect for woman. They are clearly there for nothing else but paid sex. HOW WILL YOU RESPOND TO YOUR DAUGHTER, YOUR SON AND YOUR WIFE?



Do not forget that he wanted to use the executive power to grant licenses to illegals, going against the majority of the citizens of New York. Heck, common sense says "NO, you are an illegal alien. Remember citizens, our esteemed leaders actually call them, "UNDOCUMENTED WORKERS." THE POLITICIAN ALWAYS KNOWS BEST, AS FOR US, WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT IS GOOD FOR US.

A runaway politician, elitist....you bet!!!



Another point. What are your thoughts on officials arresting and labeling a 6 year old as a sex offender? Will you angry and demanding an explanation or will you be a moderate saying, "well, I do not know. I do not want to hurt some body's feelings" Grow up!!! Don't wait until it is your child. We are slowly moving toward tyranny.

Let's now take a look at our co Clinton president, Hillary. Is she just not such a wonderful caring person who puts you and our great country first...?

Allow me to refresh your memory: Before I do this, I will like for you to imagine this was your family member and name being dragged and smeared.

She tells a story about a woman who was refused treatment at a hospital. The woman was pregnant too. Sen. Clinton says this pregnant lady was refused treatment and that the hospital told her to pay $100-00 otherwise they (hospital) will not treat her.

Sen Clinton continues and says the lady was homeless and poor, so she returned home, (I thought she was homeless) and gave birth. Both mother and child died.

Now the truth: Does this not always happen to the liberals. Yes, both the mother and her child, tragically, did die. The baby was still born and the mother dies two weeks later. YES, the mother did have insurance, was employed, and the hospital.....they mentioned the lady was under the care of an obstetrics practice that is affiliated with the hospital AND that she was NEVER refused treatment.

Fellow fraternity members, you see, the family of this woman is outraged. They are not poor and they have insurance.

Is this just not disgusting...hmmm! Sen. Clinton does not care that she is smearing the dead woman and her family as long as she can tell a story and get political gain. This stunt, fellow fraternity members was to promote and advance her health insurance bill.

To the Clinton's, out great country is nothing more than an evil empire with giant evil corporations stealing money and not paying enough in taxes. They are both just plain cold.

Remember, post your thoughts. Membership is what is needed to get these officials back under control and to keep our country strong. Together we can make a difference, do you, want to?

A parting thought: Imagine an issue coming up on for eg. immigration and over 70% of he country agree that this is not a good idea, but the leaders decide to move on....Well, enter powerupamerica. A few questions for THINKING AMERICAN'S only. Cowards need not answer!

Should you be forced to take care of your neighbor and his/her children's health care costs?

Socialism or Democracy, you choose.

Would you allow the US government to monitor and decide for you your intake of salt, vegetables, fruit etc.? How about supporting mandated exercise....?

Folks, remember state rep. Ted Mayall from Mississippi who sponsored House Bill 282 that basically stated that it would give the state the power to impose fines or revoke licenses of food establishments that served obese people....?



Prof. Walter E Williams drew this argument about the law requiring both motorcyclists and bicyclists to wear helmets and I quote from his article:- After all, if one is exercises his liberty to ride without a helmet, and has an accident and becomes a vegetable, society has to bear the expense of taking of him. The FACT that an obese person becomes ill, or a cyclist has an accident, and becomes a burden on taxpayers who MUST bear the expense of taking care of him, is not a problem of LIBERTY. It is a problem of SOCIALISM where one is forced to take care of another.There is no moral argument that justifies using coercive powers of government to force one person to bear the expense of taking care of another. If that person is too resolute in his refusal to do so, what is the case for imposing fines, imprisonment or death?

Forcing one person to bear the burden of health care costs for another is not only a moral question but a major threat to our personal liberty.

Folks, as stated before, this site is not for the moderate, the leftists and the cowards. Membership is for those of us who want to protects our freedoms, put America first.

Based upon these statements we have so called leaders who are hellbent on stripping us of our morals and freedoms. You decide! Is it media creating social engineering on us or is that we are just so infactuated with these so called leaders of society OR are we just to comfortable with the status quo? The crocodile is going to eat you.

Look at this: Obama's pastor announces:"If God is not for us and against whites....we had better kill Him".

C'mon, look at what is happening here, division of races again and by whom, a person aligned with the Democrat party. Imagine for a second if this was a conservative making this statement or even, a white person......?

I am not saying that all democrats align themselves with outrageous statements and people like this. There are good democrats, and they desparately need to wake up as their platform and party are being "partyjacked" by the liberal leftists. They know who they are, cowards, cut and run, anti America, abortionists, dividers, tax raisers. The list goes on.

Our great universities are being muslimized too. WOW! We have in one of our higher places of learning a Hindu who is charge of teaching Christian religeon. Ha ha. what do you think he is going to be teaching your students, parents?

What about this: Students, more than likely illegals decided that they will deface our great flag at their school. They took down our flag, hoisted the Mexican flag and put the USA flag beneath it and upside down. Are you not outraged at this? What are our city leaders and state government doing about it...NOTHING?

How can this be happening, well they (city and strate leaders/politicians) have no oposition from the citizens and they just tell us via the help of the media, we need to accept this behaviour and understand the circumstances of these immigrants. What a load of rubbish.

How safe is our 2nd amendment? Read this and you tell your kids what is going to happen if you do not choose to do something. This is from one our esteemed, elitist, US Senators Daniel Patrick Moynian This is what he said: If it were up to me we could tax them (firearms) out of existence".

Another liberal elitist, Nelson T Shields writes: "We are going to have to take this one step at a time, and the first step is necessarily - given the political realities - going to be very modest. Right now, though we'd satisfied not with a half a loaf but with a slice. Our ULTIMATE GOAL - total control of the guns is going to take time......The final problem is to make the possession of all handguns and all handgun ammunition except for the military, policemen, licensed security guards, licensed sporting clubs and licensed gun collectors - TOTALLY ILLEGAL."

I urge you to join, become a member, take a stand, without this only a mediocre person is at his/her best.
